What's It Like Living At Cosmic Honey?
You'll live in community and develop a relationship to this beautiful land. You'll work on projects of your design, or help our dynamic team of creators, makers, celebrators & edge-pushers by getting involved in our existing projects. You can build art and structures, get dirty in the garden, or collaborate in stewarding the business. And of course you'll have lots and lots of fun! Join us as we explore what humanity is capable of when we connect to ourselves and our sweet planet.
Living at Cosmic Honey means you'll get to follow your excitement and listen to your creative impulses. Residents work together to turn dreams into reality.

Projects, Art & Creating
Over the long term, we want Cosmic Honey to be a community hub, where people can come for discovery, creation, recreation and celebration.
We envision long-term residents on this land, and we also want to help seed other residential communities nearby - we imagine a network of communities sprouting up and synergizing with the wealth of resources & land Cosmic Honey can offer as a community hub. We dream of Cosmic providing the space to share ideas and resources, while expanding the power and resiliency of our community.
Living at Cosmic means contributing to a dream for a brighter, more connected world. People who are interested in staying here for a longer time can participate in and help to define the norms and structures of resident life. It can also be a great opportunity to stretch your ideas of what is possible, who you are and what you need, while finding like minded people to build your future with.

Living & Working
Come live in an RV, bus or tent, while sharing the house and other amenities of the property. Your new backyard could be 433 acres of beautiful California hills!
You can live here for free while you are working part-time on projects benefiting Cosmic, or contribute financially if you’ll be less involved.
We create a connected resident community by making art together, designing & building projects together, sharing delicious meals & making intentional time to express what's in our hearts & minds.
Residents who've been around for awhile are active practitioners of Non-Violent Communication which has proven to be amazing for resolving conflict peacefully. We encourage new residents to learn NVC by practicing with us. We use "The 6 Thinking Hats" for collaborating and making decisions together. We are inspired by the ideas in the book "Reinventing Organizations" and we recommend new residents read the illustrated version which takes a couple of hours to get through.
We encourage residents to go on adventures and explore all of the natural beauty surrounding Cosmic Honey. With mountains to the east, redwoods and ocean to the north & west, creeks, marshland and Clear Lake to the south - we are blessed to live amongst natural treasures.

Connected to the City
Cosmic is a 2-3 hour drive to the bay, so you can stay connected to your Bay area community and help us nurture a thick cord of connection between Cosmic Honey and the inspiration, innovation and wild ideas happening in the city.
We are building a business that serves Cosmic Honey members, visitors & farm stand customers. As a Cosmic Honey resident you have an opportunity to work towards becoming a co-steward of the business we are operating and making a career out of creating fun, beauty, meaning, art, community and a patch of Earth that is healthy & loved!
Being a resident doesn't mean you have to participate in stewarding the business, but it opens it up as a potential option.
